During my time at VA Girls State, I had the unique opportunity to learn about Virginia's government and political processes. One of the highlights of my experience was meeting Governor Youngkin, who provided valuable insights into the state's leadership and governance.
Throughout the program, I was able to interact with senators and legislators, gaining firsthand knowledge about the intricacies of government that are not typically taught in schools. I also had the chance to participate in running for election, crafting bills that addressed issues important to my constituents.
Overall, my experience at VA Girls State taught me about new ways to serve my country beyond just the military. I learned how to make a positive impact on my community and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of political engagement and civic responsibility.
